ST. DAVIDS, PA - The College at Florham knocked off Eastern, 3-0, in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon.  While the Devils did not qualify for the upcoming Freedom Conference Tournament, they are still alive for a bid in the ECAC Metro Region Tournament.

With the win, the Devils improved to 9-9-1 (2-4-1 Freedom) while the Eagles dropped to 6-10-2 (2-4-1 Freedom).

FDU started the scoring 10:28 before halftime when freshman midfielder Manny Almeida (Elizabeth, NJ/Union Catholic) converted a penalty kick.  Freshman midfielder Joshua Corpuz (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) gave the Devils two insurance goals in the second half, at the 45:20 and 88:11 marks, on assists from Almeida and junior midfielder Matt Kinsley (Pearl River, NY/Pearl River).

Junior goalkeeper Kevin Herbert (Whippany, NJ/Whippany Park) picked up the win, making four saves.
