Scott Veith begins his 14th year at FDU. He enters 2017-18 as the winningest tennis coach in school history. He’s served as the Head Coach of the Men’s Tennis team for 13 seasons, and has lead the women’s programs for  nine seasons.

The 2016-17 men's tennis program advanced to the MAC Freedom Championship, falling to Wilkes. Veith coached then-juniors Max Moscowitz and Chris Ly to their 75th career victories, while Ly also eanred his 34th singles win to establish a new program standard.
 
The Women’s tennis team made history in 2014. They were selected to participate in the first ever ECAC Divison III Team Tennis Championships. Coach Veith worked closely with the ECAC to create the team tournament and served as Selection Committee Chair for the ECAC Division III Men’s Team Championship.
 
In addition to his tennis responsibilities, Coach Veith is an assistant coach for the FDU football team and an assistant strength and conditioning coach for several teams within the athletic department. A veteran football coach, Veith has spent time coaching at the professional, collegiate, high school and youth levels.
 
Veith is the Co-Director of the Wrobo Bowl Foundation, a group dedicated to promoting youth football, remembering  fallen veterans, and assisting veterans in need.
 
His wife, Christine, is the Assistant Dean of Students at FDU. They live in Franklin with their three children; Jack, Emilia and Liza.
