Chris Ly joined the FDU-Florham tennis teams as a volunteer assistant coach in 2018 after completing a stellar playing career.
The men's tennis team's all-time leader in career wins, Ly became the first person in school-history to record 100 victories.
Ly gained All-Conference honors in his final three seasons, including First Team accolades during his junior season. That year he won 13 of his final 14 singles matches and 11 of his last 12 doubles matches. In his final season, he went 38-7 across singles and doubles,
While at FDU, Ly earned a Masters Degree in Computer Science. He taught tennis at the Staten Island Community Tennis Center for five years, and currently works as a software engineer.
