Michael Czyrnek joined the FDU men's soccer coaching staff in 2018 as an Assistant Coach.

Czyrnek played locally at Montclair State University, appearing in 55 games as a midfielder. He started 40 games in his career, registering three goals and eight assists. Czyrnek also netted one game-winning goal to along with 17 shot attempts.

In his three seasons, the Red Hawks qualified for the NCAA Tournament in all three campaigns. During his freshman year, MSU advanced to the Sectional Finals, falling 2-1 to Ohio Northern.

Prior to MSU, Michael was called up to represent the USA National Team U14 and Poland National Team U18. This is his second coaching stint after being on the staff at College of Mount Saint Vincent in 2017.
