Stephen McCrossin joined the FDU coaching staff in the summer of 2018.

McCrossin played lacrosse collegiately at Arcadia from 2015-2018, earning the role of team captain during his senior season. He also gained MAC Commonwealth Honor Roll accolades in 2016. 2017 and 2018. He is second in Knights career history in caused turnovers per game, ninth in caused turnovers, and tied for fourth in single game caused turnovers. In 2016, he was second on the team in ground balls, and in 2018 was first on the squad in caused turnovers. He finished his career playing in 55 games, notching two goals, 89 ground balls and 45 caused turnovers.

 He will assist Coach Scarpello on the pensive side of the field, and will be instrumental in running the social media for the men's lacrosse team.

While at Arcadia, McCrossin served as the Student Director of Soccer Operations. He assisted in setting up practices and handling game film exchange.

For his collegiate internship, McCrossin interned with the Lower Merion Police Department in Lower Merion, Pa. He did 200 hours, helping develop a website to educate the public about being pulled over by the police.

The Pennsylvania native works as a deckhand and in security with HMS Global Maritime, transporting customers across the Delaware River from Camden to Philadelphia on the Ferry Freedom. He has held that position since May 2016.

McCrossin graduated from Arcadia in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. His Senior Thesis was on Police and PTSD: The Stress of Police Work.
