CAREER WRITE-UP
Keith Hack entered his first year as the Head Men's Basketball Coach during the 2023-24 season.
Coach Hack comes to FDU-Florham after spending four seasons as the Head Coach at Medaille College. During his time there, he coached the team to a 2022 AMCC Conference Championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance. The team transitioned to the Empire 8 Conference the next season and he was able to help the team make the Empire 8 Conference Tournament in the team's first year in the conference. Hack recruited and developed an Empire 8 All-Conference selection, AMCC Co-Player of the Year, an AMCC First Team All-Conference selection, two AMCC Second Team All-Conference selections, two All-AMCC Tournament Team Selections, two 1,000-point scorers and five All-Academic selections.
Before his time at Medaille College, he spent six years as the Associate Head Men's Basketball Coach at Ursinus College where he assisted head coach Brian Small in all aspects of the program with an emphasis on development, Mid-Atlantic recruiting, and scouting. During his time at Ursinus, he helped lead the men's basketball program to three-straight Centennial Conference semifinals games from 2017-2019. Hack also helped develop three All-Centennial conference selections and a 1,000-point scorer.
Hack joined the Ursinus coaching staff after serving three years as an assistant coach at SUNY New Paltz. While at New Paltz, he helped lead the team to their most conference wins in 14 years during the 2013 season and helped recruit and develop three All-SUNYAC Conference selections and two 1,000-point scorers.
Keith started his coaching career in 2010 with Niagara County Community College where he developed four All-Conference selections and helped coach the team to a 20-11 overall record in 2011 and a 19-9 overall record in 2012.
During his playing career, he was a four-year starter at Medaille College where he is ranked fourth all-time in career rebounds (544), fourth all-time in games started (93) and sixth all-time in points scored (1211). Hack was the 2010 AMCC Player of the Year, NABC First Team All-Region, three-time All-Conference selection and two-time team captain. He also led his team to two AMCC Tournament Championships and two NCAA Tournament appearances.
Hack graduated from Medaille College with a bachelor's degree in sports management and then transitioned to get his master's degree from SUNY Cortland in sports management.
