John McDonald will be entering his first season at FDU this fall to coach the running backs.
Prior to FDU he was an assistant coach for Kevin Carty at Hillsborough High School for the 2018 season. While at Hillsborough High School his role was to mainly coach the tight end group but was also heavily involved with the running backs.
He is a 2019 graduate of The College of New Jersey where he played fullback for the 2016 season. Following a career ending injury he joined the TCNJ coaching staff as an offensive intern that primarily assisted the development of the tight end group.
