Joey Vaughan joined the staff here at Fairleigh Dickinson as the Defensive Pass Game Coordinator and Defensive Backs Coach in the Summer of 2024.
Vaughan arrives at FDU after three years at his alma mater Salisbury University located in Salisbury, Maryland. During his time at Salisbury, he was the Safeties & Assistant DB Coach and also served as the Video Coordinator. While at Salisbury, he coached multiple All-NJAC selections and helped them to 2 New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships.Â
Vaughan is from Northern Virginia, where he attended Oakton High School in Vienna, Virginia.Â
