Lauren Griggs enters her second season as a volunteer field hockey coach. During her first season, the Devils celebrated a variety of accomplishments. The team secured the 2014 Freedom Conference Championship and made it to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.

Griggs joins the staff after a four-year career at Stevens Institute of Technology in 2011. Griggs played the positions of midfield and attack as a member of the Ducks field hockey team. Griggs also served as a tri-Captain her senior year.

Griggs was honored as the 2007 Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Year and was a 2010 Empire 8 First Team All-Conference selection. She was also named an Empire 8 Player of the Week. During Griggs' career, she amassed 55 points (26 goals, 3 assists) and is listed in a few categories of the school record books. During Griggs' career, Stevens won three Conference Championships and participated in the NCAA Regional Semifinals twice. Academically, Griggs was a member of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Academic Team.

As a coach, Griggs coached the under 16/19 club team All 4 One, volunteered with the Varsity squad at Hillsborough High School, as well as assisted at a USA Field Hockey Futures U16 NJ site. Griggs is also a certified umpire and has officiated at numerous events, including the New Jersey Futures Regional Tournament and Disney Showcase.
Griggs graduated in 2011 from Stevens with a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering. Griggs works at Becton, Dickinson and Company in Franklin Lakes, NJ and is pursuing an MBA from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
