EWING, N.J. – The FDU-Florham cross country teams opened their 2026 seasons Friday evening at the TCNJ Herb Lorenz Cross Country Invitational.

Devils Highlights

• Senior Briella Bagnato led the way for the women's team in the 5K, placing 10th overall with a personal-best time of 20:35.5.
• Junior Kirushnavarshini (Varsha) Ranjan also recorded a personal best in the 5K, placing 22nd overall with a time of 22:10.5.
• Senior Luke Passarelli led the men's team in the 6K, finishing with a time of 23:01.0.●      First-year Joseph Bonavolonta made an impressive collegiate debut in the 6K, finishing just 5.5 seconds behind Passarelli with a time of 23:06.5.

How it Happened

• Overall, the women's team placed fourth with 108 points.
• The men's team placed sixth with 155 points.
• Bagnato and Ranjan both posted personal-best times, while Joanna Gyulay, Samantha Castellano, Joseph Bonavolonta, and Victor Serna made their collegiate cross-country debuts.
