MADISON, N.J. – The FDU cross country team raced in the Drew University Tri-Meet hosted locally at Drew on Thursday afternoon.
Devils Highlights:
- In the men's 4k, senior Emmanuel Torode broke his own program-wide record time, placing 4th individually with an impressive time of 13.24.0.
- Finishing close behind, junior Luke Passarelli and sophomore Evan McGinnity improved their season high times, with Passarelli placing 5th overall with a time of 13:49.9 and McGinnity placing 6th overall with a time of 13:57.2.
- For the women's 4k event, junior Briella Bagnato also broke the women's 4k program record, having placed 4th overall with a speedy time of 15:30.8.
- Junior Julia Flynn and first year Madeline Drozdowski placed second and third behind Bagnato, with Flynn placing 9th overall with a time of 16:43.8 and Drozdowski placing 10th overall with a time of 16:51.4.
How it Happened:
- Overall, the men's team finished 2nd in the meet with a combined score 33 points. The women's team also finished 2nd in the meet with a combined score of 49 points.
- Lastly, FDU-Florham as a whole finished 2nd in the meet with a combined score of 33 points.
