MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham baseball team suffered its first loss of the season as the Ramapo Roadrunners downed the Devils 14-4.
Devils Highlights
- Junior John Rolli stayed hot at the plate, going 4-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored.
- Sophomore Xavier Diaz kept the Devils offense in it, going 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI.
How It Happened
- The Devils started off in the hole, having given up five runs in the first two innings making the score 5-0. The bats finally came alive in the bottom of the third as a double off the bat of Diaz scored Rolli to make it 5-1.
- After falling behind 12-1, the Devils struck again in the bottom of the seventh. Starting with a hit by pitch by first year Christian Zamrok, the offense went on to score three more runs. RBIs by senior Nicholas Colbert, Rolli and Diaz made the game 12-4 going into the final innings.
