NEWTOWN, Pa. – The FDU-Florham women's lacrosse team received their first MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week award as senior Julianna Medina took home the honor for her performance this past week, the conference office announced Tuesday morning.
This past week, Medina produced 9 points in the 13-12 victory over Bard. Not only did the attack total six goals and three assists, but she also won eight draw controls. Medina scored the last goal of the contest in the final minutes, which propelled the Devils out of a tie and secured them their second win of the season.
Medina currently sits in the number 2 spot for the conference for both points per game, with a total of 21, and shots per game for an average of 9.25. Additionally, she stands in fifth for both goals per game, averaging 3.25, and assists per game, with an average of 2.00.
The Devils look to continue in the win column as they face Elms College for non-conference action on Thursday, March 19th. First draw is set for 7 p.m.
