Dallas, Pa. – The FDU-Florham Devils women's basketball team drops to the Misericordia Cougars in MAC Freedom action this afternoon. After a close first quarter, the Devils were defeated by Misericordia 69-31.

How it Happened
- The Devils and the Cougars had a close first quarter as Misericordia opened game play with a 7-4 scoring run at the 5:08 time stamp that was overtaken by FDU with points from Sode and Centeno to take the lead to 10-7 with 3:21 remaining on the clock
- The Cougars had the offensive control on the court for the rest of the first quarter, fishing up 17-10
- Misericordia continue their hot streak into the third as they put FDU in an 11-point deficit, 21-10, at the 9:01 minute mark
- Devils' baskets from Tighe, Lucia Giangregorio and Sode closed the gap to 6-points, 24-16, towards the end of the second quarter, 4:19
- The Cougars went into the third quarter with a 12-point lead over the Devils
- FDU worked to gain offensive control of the ball, but Misericordia continued to get up shots, putting the Devils back, 52-23, as the third quarter concluded
- Sode, Sullivan, and Allie Costantino put up FDU's final points of the contest in an effort to close the gap, but the Cougars finished with a win
