How it Happened
- A made jumper from Sode landed the Devils on the board first at the 9:23 time stamp but the Monarch's responded quickly with a 3-pointer to take the lead
- Points from Clancy and Sode helped the Devils stay in the game, but the Monarchs were leading by 9-points, 19-10 with 4:07 on the clock
- The gap stayed consistent as the Devils finished the first quarter down 9-points, 25-14
- In the second quarter, the Devils trailed behind the Monarchs ending with the same 9-point deficit, going into the third quarter 42-33
- FDU closed the gap to 50-42, with made baskets from Tighe, Clancy, and Sullivan with 6:30 on the clock
- King's continued to go to the rim and finished the third quarter up 58-48
- In the fourth, the Devils went without scoring until the 4:40 time stamp with a layup from Centeno, putting the score to 66-50, Monarch's lead
- King's continued their scoring run for the rest of the fourth quarter, defeating FDU 72-52
