Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's Soccer Defeated by Wilkes, 4-1

MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham Devils women's soccer team traveled to take on Wilkes this weekend. The Devils fell to the Colonels 4-1. 

 
 
Devils Highlights 

  • Teagan Jones led the team in shots totaling 4, 3 of those being on net  

  • Goalkeeper Ava Gianni collected 5 saves in her 90:00 minutes in the cage 

How it Happened 

  • The Colonels were up 1-0 early in the first half, trading shots with the Devils. At the 24:23 time stamp, FDU was able to reach an even score due to a Wilkes own goal.  

  • The Devils fought to take the lead with shots on goal coming from Jones and Northridge, but none were converted.

The Devils will return home to take on Madison Ave rivals, Drew University on Tuesday, September 23 at 7:00 pm.
