MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham women's soccer team topped Neumann University 3-2 Friday night in comeback fashion as
Leila Duffie scored the game winner in the 61'.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jones got the party started early Friday night as the first year forward scored in the 3' of the match on a pass from Nolan to put the Devils up 1-0.
- The Knights answered in both the 16' and 20' of the match as Neumann took a 2-1 lead.
- Just seconds into the 43', Martinho sent a ball up field that Rivera sprinted for and promptly found the bottom right corner of the Neumann goal to knot the match at 2-2 headed into the break.
- In the second half, the Devils took 12 of the combined 18 shots between the two squads, but none bigger than Duffie's in the 61'. Jones sent a ball up field to Duffie who connected with her right foot and found the back of the Knights net with a friendly bounce off the crossbar to seal the 3-2 win for FDU.
MATCH NOTES
- Friday's match was the second time this season every goal was aided by an assist.
- This was FDU's second come-from-behind win of the season.
UP NEXT
The Devils return to action on Monday, Sept. 29 as FDU travels to Sarah Lawrence College to take on the Gryphons in a non-conference match. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m.
