MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham volleyball team won its fourth straight match Thursday night as the Devils topped Bard College 3-1 at home in the Ferguson Rec Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Devils fell behind early in the first set as a 7-0 Bard run put the Raptors up 8-2. FDU battled for much of the set, but the early deficit was too much to overcome as the Raptors took set one 25-16.
- Set two saw the Devils win in dominant fashion as FDU got out to an early 10-4 lead and never let up. FDU finished the set on a 12-1 scoring run highlighted by three kills from Fitch.
- Thursday's third set saw a more competitive battle between the Devils and Raptors as FDU got out to a 20-14 lead, but Bard stormed back to make it a 20-18 set. The Raptors made it a one-score set after kills from Annika Flittie, but the Devils ended the set with kills from Mackenzie Crandall and Ocasio to take a 2-1 match lead.
- Set four saw another competitive bout as the two squads went back-and-forth for much of the set. The Devils used a 5-1 run to take a 19-15 lead to put the match on ice as FDU took the fourth set 25-18.
MATCH NOTES
- Thursday's match was Fitch's fifth straight with 10 or more kills.
- Hart had her third straight match with three or more blocks.
- FDU's four match win streak is its longest since winning five straight from Oct. 11 to Oct. 24 in the 2022 season.

FDU returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 20 as the Devils head to Chambersburg, Pa. for the Wilson College Tri-Match. FDU squares off against the Phoenix at 11 a.m. followed by a match with Elizabethtown at 1 p.m.
