MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham Devils field hockey hosted Manhattanville University for a non-conference match. The Devils defeated the Valiants 3-0. 
 
Devils Highlights 

• Gianna Ercolani scored first goal of the match 

• Shirley Munoz notched her second career goal 

• Julianna Medina solidified the Devils win with her goal in the third period 

• Goalkeeper Adrianna Goodwin notched 5 saves in her 60:00 minutes in the cage 

How it Happened 

• After a scoreless first quarter, Gianna Ercolani notched FDU's first goal, assisted by Michalynn Castone which off a penalty corner taken by Emma Dombrowski  

• Munoz landed a goal to the back of the cage after sneaking behind Manhattanville goalie while they were blocking Devils offense after a penalty corner shot by Emma Dombrowski. Munzo was assisted by Julianna Medina 

• Medina secured the Devils shut out win by scoring FDU's third and final goal, also coming off a penalty corner which was taken by Castone then passed to Ercolani for the assist 

Up Next 
The Devils will then travel back to Madison, and head down the road to Drew on Saturday, Sept. 20. The contest is set to begin at 6:00 PM.
