Location: Madison, NJ (Robert T. Shields Field)
FDU Goal Scorers: Drilon Toska (10)

In a match filled with offensive intensity, the FDU-Florham men's soccer team overwhelmed Gwynedd Mercy with a relentless attack, firing off 47 total shots and claiming a 1-0 victory on the back of Drilon Toska's MAC-leading tenth goal of the season.

The first half saw wave after wave of pressure from the Devils, who tallied 22 shots in the opening 45 minutes alone. Despite the barrage, the Griffins' goalkeeper stood tall, turning away multiple dangerous opportunities—including a pair of quick-reaction saves in succession—to keep the contest scoreless heading into halftime.

FDU's persistence paid off in the 63rd minute. Drilon Toska (Lincoln Park, NJ) seized control of a loose ball after stripping a Gwynedd Mercy defender and raced down the field. With precision and power, Toska rocketed a shot into the top right corner of the net, breaking the deadlock and giving the Devils a well-earned 1-0 advantage.

The Devils continued to press for the remainder of the match, but no additional goals were scored. Despite the narrow scoreline, the stats told a dominant story. FDU set a new program record with 47 total shots, eclipsing their previous mark from earlier this season. The Devils also outshot the Griffins 12-1 in shots on goal and held a commanding 11-0 edge in corner kicks.

Genti Dauti (Lincoln Park, NJ) also made history, setting a new school record for most shots in a game with 16—several of which forced acrobatic saves to deny him a goal.

Goalkeeper Anthony Petrucci (West Orange, NJ) had a quiet night in net thanks to a strong defensive performance, making one save to preserve the clean sheet. The Devils' backline smothered Gwynedd Mercy's attack, limiting them to just three total shots.
