Making our top 10 list at #10: Buzzer-Beater from Washington Gives Men's Basketball the Win Against Misericordia on Senior Day, 83-81

The FDU-Florham Devils Men's Basketball team clinched the win against Misericordia after a close game that ended in a FDU buzzer-beater by Jaqwan Washington (Bryan, Texas), securing the 83-81 win on Senior Day.

Washington led the Devils with 26 points. Mac Creek (Louisville, KY.) follows behind with 17 and Francis Denvir (Holland Township, N.J.) with 13.

The FDU Devils opened strong with an 8-0 run, thanks to early buckets from Washington. Despite Misericordia finally getting on the board at the 15:47 mark, FDU maintained momentum, extending their lead to 22-12 midway through the first half. Contributions from Ethan Klueh (Orlando, Fla.) , Creek, and Washington were thought to have helped the Devils fend off a Cougars rally, but Misericordia clawed back to tie it 30-30 by halftime.

The second half saw a back-and-forth battle, with the teams deadlocked at 40-40 early on. FDU briefly pulled ahead behind scoring efforts from Carson Woods (Phoenix, Az.), Noah Pagan (Ringwood, N.J.), and Denvir, holding a 51-46 advantage. Misericordia surged to take a 62-60 lead with just over 8 minutes left, setting up a tense final stretch. The game remained tight, knotted at 75-75 with under 3 minutes to play.

With just 6 seconds remaining and the score still tied, Washington came through in the clutch, sinking a buzzer-beating floater to secure an exhilarating 83-81 win for the Devils to cap senior day with an unforgettable game on Roger Kindel Court.
