Madison, N.J. (June 16)- The FDU-Florham Devils Athletic Department, Director of Athletics
Kristin Giotta, and the FDU Devils Hall of Fame Committee are proud to announce the FDU Devils Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
This year's class celebrates the outstanding contributions of seven individual athletes, one coach and a team whose achievements have left a legacy on FDU-Florham athletics.
The individuals who will be inducted into this year's class are;
Phil Santiago BA'75 (Men's Soccer),
Alyssa McDonough BS '17 (Women's Basketball),
Lindsey Parent BA '11 MA'12 (Women's Lacrosse),
Malik Pressley BS '21 (Football),
Makayla Pak BA '19 MA '20 (Field Hockey),
Taylor Torre BS '18 MA'19 (Softball),
Bohdan Semak BS '18 (Men's Swimming) and
Dante Fedeli (Softball). The team being inducted into the Hall of Fame this year is the
2010 Women's Lacrosse team.
The induction ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at either Lenfell Hall in The Mansion or the Gymnasium of the Ferguson Recreation Center on the Fairleigh Dickinson University–Florham campus. The final location will be determined based on the number of attendees. Cocktail hour will begin at 12:00 pm, with the ceremony starting at 1:00 pm.

Phil Santiago BA '75 (Men's Soccer)
Santiago stands as a trailblazer as he was a four-year varsity standout on the Men's Soccer team from 1971 to 1974. Santiago made an indelible impact on the program and set a standard of excellence that still resonates today.
As a dynamic midfielder, Santiago showcased elite skill and scoring ability, highlighted by an incredible 26-goal season in his junior year (1973) — a mark that led the Middle Atlantic Conference. His consistent dominance on the field earned him numerous accolades, including All-MAC First Team (1973), All-MAC Second Team (1974), ECAC All-East Team, and All-American honors.
In 1973, Santiago was recognized as FDU's Athlete of the Year, a testament to his all-around excellence and leadership. His influence extended beyond collegiate athletics, as he became the first FDU-Madison athlete ever drafted into the professional ranks.
A true pioneer, Santiago also made history by becoming the first FDU athlete named to a United States Olympic team. Though serving primarily as an alternate, he practiced with the squad and gained invaluable international experience, further elevating the prestige of Devils athletics.
Santiago's achievements paved the way for future generations and set a benchmark for what it means to be a student-athlete at FDU.
Alyssa McDonough BS '17 (Women's Basketball)
A cornerstone of the most successful era in FDU-Florham Women's Basketball history, McDonough left an extraordinary legacy during her four-year career from 2013 to 2017. A model of consistency, leadership, and elite play making, McDonough was a four-year varsity letter winner and a pivotal figure in the program's national prominence.
McDonough helped launch her collegiate career in historic fashion, playing a key role on the 2013–14 National Championship Team that finished with a perfect 33–0 record — the first NCAA title in program history. Over the course of her career, her teams compiled an incredible 108–13 overall record, leading the Devils to four consecutive MAC Freedom Conference Championships.
She remains etched in the program record books as the all-time leader in assists (408), 3rd in three-point field goals attempted (477), 4th in three-point field goals made (152), 5th in free-throw percentage (77.1%), 5th in career points scored (1,485), and just one of just 17 players in program history to surpass the 1,000-point milestone. Her individual accolades are as impressive as her team's successes, as she held an All-MAC Freedom selection every season, including First Team honors and MAC Freedom Honorable Mention, First Team All-Atlantic Region, and WBCA All-American Honorable Mention.
Alyssa's impact on and off the court helped define a dynasty and set the foundation for future success. Her induction into the Hall of Fame is a fitting tribute to one of the most accomplished student-athletes in FDU Women's Basketball history.
Lindsey Parent BA '11 MA'12 (Women's Lacrosse)
A transformative figure in the rise of FDU-Florham Women's Lacrosse, Parent made her mark as a dynamic midfielder, standout leader, and two-way force who helped usher in a new era of championship success for the program.
Competing from 2008-2011, Parent filled the stat sheet across multiple categories, finishing her career with 152 career goals, 220 total points, 68 assists – 5th in program history, 187 ground balls – 5th in program history, and 130 draw controls.
Her debut season was a historic one, helping lead the Devils to their first-ever MAC Freedom Conference Championship and first NCAA Tournament appearance. In her junior year, she added another title by winning the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Region Tournament, further solidifying her legacy as a championship-caliber player.
Parent's individual accolades are a testament to her consistent excellence include 2× First Team All-MAC Freedom, 2× First Team All-Boardwalk Region, Third Team All-American – WomensLacrosse.com, Second Team All-MAC Freedom, 2× MAC Freedom Player of the Week, 2× Division III Team of the Week Honor Roll, and a 2× Team Most Valuable Player.
Off the field, Parent embodied the true spirit of the student-athlete. She was twice named to the MAC Spring All-Academic Team, and her leadership extended to roles in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and as a club lacrosse coach. A dedicated scholar, Parent completed both her bachelor's degree in mathematics and master's degree in education through FDU's QUEST program.
Malik Pressley BS '21 (Football)
One of the most electrifying wide receivers in FDU-Florham Football history, Pressley left an unforgettable mark on the program through his record-shattering performances, explosive playmaking, and relentless drive.
During his three-year career from 2014 to 2017, Pressley rewrote the FDU record books and set a new standard for offensive production. In just 29 career games, he amassed 245 receptions, 2,957 receiving yards, 41 receiving touchdowns — FDU's all-time record, 102 receiving yards per game average, and over 248 points scored, contributing to 42 percent of the team's total points during his time.
Pressley also holds multiple program single-game and single-season records, including most receiving yards in a game (309), most receiving touchdowns in a game (5), Most receiving touchdowns in a season (18), and most receptions per game in a season (12.7).
A decorated athlete, his list of honors underscores his elite standing in Division III football including the 2014 MAC Rookie of the Year, 2015 MAC Offensive Player of the Year, D3football.com Second Team All-Region, 2× First Team All-MAC, and Second Team All-MAC.
Makayla Pak BA '19 MA '20 (Field Hockey)
Pak was a standout four-year varsity letter winner for the FDU-Florham field hockey program from 2015 to 2018. As a defensive cornerstone for the Devils, she started 79 of 83 games, contributing not only on the back line but also making her mark offensively. Over her career, Pak tallied 8 goals and 13 assists for 29 total points, with 131 shots and a shot-on-goal percentage of .557. Her clutch play included two game-winning goals during her junior year in pivotal conference matchups against Stevens and Misericordia. In her senior season, she recorded a crucial defensive save in a 1-0 shutout over Delaware Valley.
Pak's excellence on the field was matched by an impressive list of accolades. She began her collegiate career with immediate impact, earning MAC Freedom Rookie of the Year as a freshman. She was named to the NFHCA All-American Second Team, NFHCA All-South Atlantic Region First Team, NFHCA All-South Region Second Team, All-ECAC First Team, ECAC Defensive Player of the Year, and recipient of the NJAIAW Woman of the Year award. A consistent presence among the conference's best, she was a 3-time All-MAC Freedom First Team selection and MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Year. Her senior campaign was capped with honors as the 2018 MAC Freedom Championship MVP.
Under her leadership and contributions, FDU-Florham captured the 2018 MAC Freedom Championship, advanced to the NCAA Tournament second round, and secured three MAC Freedom Regular Season Championships, two ECAC Semifinal appearances, and a trip to the ECAC Finals.
Off the field, Pak excelled academically as well, earning a spot on the Academic All-MAC Team while pursuing a degree in education with dedication and distinction.
Taylor Torre BS '18 MA'19 (Softball)
Torre was a four-year student-athlete for the FDU-Florham softball program from 2015 to 2018, starting 141 of the 142 games she played in throughout her collegiate career. While she may not top every record in the book, her consistent performance and impact on the program are undeniable. Torre etched her name into both the single-season and career record lists, ranking fifth all-time for single-season at-bats (129) and runs scored (38), and second in both hits (53) and home runs (10) in a single season. Over the span of her career, Torre compiled impressive numbers placing her on the list of being third all-time in hits (170), fourth in at-bats (443), third in runs scored (113), second in home runs (24), fourth in doubles (30). She carried a career batting average of .384 and added 6 triples, 92 RBIs, and drew 32 walks.
Her excellence extended beyond the diamond. Torre earned numerous accolades on the field, including NFCA Second Team All-Region, two All-MAC Freedom First Team selections and one All-MAC Freedom Second Team honor. Her time in the classroom assisted her performances on the field as she was also named the MAC Softball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, a MAC Senior Scholar, an All-MAC Academic Team honoree, and a two-time CoSIDA All-Region Team (now known as CSC Academic All-District).
Torre's dedication was also evident in the classroom. A mathematics major, she was inducted into the Math Honor Society and Pi Mu Epsilon and earned honor roll distinction in all eight semesters at FDU. In 2018, she was honored with the prestigious Dr. Ken Greene Scholar Athlete Award, recognizing her academic excellence.
Bohdan Semak BA '18 (Men's Swimming)
Semak was a standout member of the FDU-Florham swimming team from 2015 to 2018, accomplishing feats that set a new standard for the program. In just three years, he established himself as a record-breaking force in the pool, setting over 13 school records—eight of which still stand today, including the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, and 500 freestyle.
Beyond setting records, Semak made history as the program's first-ever ECAC qualifier, establishing himself as a trailblazer for future Devils swimmers. His success extended beyond the pool as well—he earned Second Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-Conference honors, becoming the first in program history to receive such recognition, exemplifying his excellence athletically.
Dante Fedeli (Softball)
Fedeli served as the Head Softball Coach at FDU-Florham for 20 seasons, from 2000 to 2020. During his tenure he amassed 341 wins, the third most all-time in program history among those with over 100 games coached.
Under his leadership, the Devils reached the postseason nine times, including eight MAC Freedom Playoff appearances, two MAC Freedom Championship series, eleven ECAC playoff games, and a berth in an ECAC Championship series. Notably, from 2005–2008, Fedeli guided the program to four consecutive MAC Freedom Tournament appearances, marking a historic stretch for FDU-Florham softball.
Fedeli was a three-time Coach of the Year and played a significant role in the development of standout student-athletes. His tenure saw 17 players earn First Team All-Conference honors, five Major MAC Award recipients (Nikki Caruso, Megan McInaw, Sarah Lima, Christine Heyl, and Kelly Nover), and nine inductees into the FDU Devils Hall of Fame, including Brittni Adams, Cara Boseski, Nikki Caruso, Kelly James, Wynne McCann, Megan McInaw, Kelly Nover, Jamie Peterson, and Jen Russomanno.
Beyond the diamond, Fedeli contributed deeply to the campus community. He taught a freshman seminar course for over two decades and served as the head coach of the cross-country team from 2009 to 2017. Known for his passion both on and off the field, Coach Fedeli left an enduring legacy of leadership, mentorship, and commitment to FDU-Florham athletics and academics.
2010 Women's Lacrosse Team
The 2010 FDU-Florham Devils Women's Lacrosse Team made history with a remarkable 16-6 season, highlighted by their second appearance in the MAC Freedom Championship and their second ECAC Championship title.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Adrienne Carr, the Devils entered the MAC Freedom Tournament as the No. 3 seed, following an impressive 10-2 conference record. They opened the postseason with a commanding 20-11 win over sixth-seeded Eastern University in the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, FDU avenged a regular-season loss to second-seeded Messiah, pulling off a key 11-8 upset to advance to the championship game. Although they fell 11-4 to top-seeded Elizabethtown in the final, their season was far from over.
Awarded the No. 1 seed in the ECAC Tournament, the Devils defeated fourth-seeded Alvernia 19-15 in the semifinals. They closed out their season on a high note, capturing the program's second ECAC Championship with a 12-8 victory over Washington & Jefferson.
The 2010 season also saw numerous team and individual records fall, with several Devils earning prestigious accolades. Headlining the honors was 2025 FDU Devils Hall of Fame inductee
Lindsay Parent (BA '11, MA '12), who was named to the Womenlacrosse.com All-American Third Team, as well as the All-Region First Team and All-MAC Freedom First Team. She was joined by standout teammates
Jackie Gale (BA '10) and
Stefaine Sanzari (BA '11), who also received All-MAC Freedom and All-Region recognition for their contributions to the team's historic run.
