Madison, NJ (May 16)- FDU-Florham women's lacrosse senior Alexis Ashton (Blairstown, NJ) was recognized this season by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) as she was named to the All-Boardwalk region second team on Friday afternoon.
Ashton was named to the IWLCA second team for the first time in her collegiate career. The team captain started and played in 14 of 15 games her senior year, netting 58 goals and 6 assists for 64 points on the season. She picked up 35 ground balls, caused 17 turnovers, and earned 94 draw control wins. This season, Ashton earned the 200-career points milestone against Drew on March 19th, earned 200 career goals and 100 ground balls against Delaware Valley on April 19th, as well as recorded 300 career draw controls against Lebanon Valley on April 23rd.
