Game Recap: Women's Lacrosse |

Women's Lacrosse Defeated by Lebanon Valley, 23-3

Annville, PA (April 23)Alexis Ashton (Blairstown, NJ) led the FDU Women's Lacrosse team in scoring 3 goals against Lebanon Valley. In goal for FDU was Alison Kozik (Ellington, CT), who saved 6 of the 27 shots faced.  

The Lebanon Valley Flying Dutchmen controlled the first quarter of gameplay as they scored 10 goals against the Devils' lone goal. Ashton got FDU on the board at the 8:14 time stamp, earning her first of the three Devils goals. 

In the second quarter, the Dutchmen continued their scoring run as they pushed an 11-point deficit onto the Devils at the 12:15 minute mark, 12-1. Ashton earned FDU their second goal with 8:38 remaining before the half. Lebanon Valley ended the quarter by earning 3 more goals, going into the third quarter with a 13-point lead. 

Early in the second half of play, Ashton landed the Devils' third goal at the 7:08 minute mark. The Flying Dutchman brought the score to 18-3 as they kept up their offensive efforts in the third quarter.  

The Devils went scoreless in the fourth quarter, and the Dutchmen defeated FDU 23-3.  

 
As a team, FDU-Florham took 10 shots, 6 ground balls, and 11 draw controls. 
 
Lebanon Valley totaled 32 shots, 17 ground balls, and 18 draw controls.
