York, PA (February 16) – In the final day of the 2025 MAC Swimming Championships, the FDU-Florham Women's Swimming Team kept its program streak alive by sending its swimmers to the finals of their events and saw an overall team finish of 7
th place with 593 points.
Magda Konopka (Paramus, NJ) and
Lauren Stone (Middletown, NJ) both competed in the 100 free. Konopka finished the event with a time of 54.71 for a podium finish of 7
th and a school record, while Stone took 24
th with a time of 58.29.
Katelyn Plank (Bridgewater, N.J.) took 8
th overall in the 100 back with a time of 2:18.16, as
Olivia Case (Cream Ridge, NJ) followed behind for 13
th in the 100 back (2:19.89) and
Jessica Mooney (Cranford, N.J.) closed the event for the Devils with a time of 2:25.54 for 21
st overall.
Seen in the 200 breast was
Olivia Glenfield (Howell, MI) who touched the wall for a time of 2:37.62, resulting in 12
th place.
The relay events for the final day consisted of Konopka, Plank,
Julianna Fazzio (Glassboro, NJ), and Stone taking the best finish of the day for 5
th with a time of 3:43.33 in the 400 free relay. Another quartet of Glenfield, Case,
Caitlyn Kramaritsch (Roxbury, NJ) Ashley Smith (Tinton Falls, NJ), was the final set of Devils to record a time of 3:58.98 (16
th).
FDU-Florham now looks its next championships of the ECAC, starting on February 28 and lasting till March 2.
