Madison, NJ (February 12) FDU-Florham Women's Basketball remained at home to take on Lebanon Valley, unfortunately, they were tripped up by a score of 56-44.
FDU-Florham (7-15, 4-7 MAC Freedom) was led by
Kolby Lynch (Morristown, NJ), scoring 25 points and earning eight rebounds and four steals.

Lebanon Valley's (16-6, 9-2 MAC Freedom) best player on the court was Cristina Fernandez, who scored 18 points.
The first few points of the night were split four apiece between both teams, with Lynch and
Shannon Tighe (Wayne, NJ) hitting shots for the Devils. FDU then went on a run with Lynch going off, scoring six points in a row to give FDU a 10-4 lead. Lebanon Valley took the lead back score seven nine points, but FDU remained in the fight, with Lynch getting fouled on a made jumper, then hitting the free throw shot to tie the game at 13. A three-pointer from the Flying Dutchmen was answered with a jumper from
Bianca Sode (Kenilworth, NJ) and another layup from Lynch to reclaim the lead from Lebanon Valley to close the quarter. After ten minutes, FDU was beating Lebanon Valley 17-16.
The second quarter was where the Flying Dutchmen staked their claim on this game, as they dominated it from start to finish. They started it with 15 straight points before the Devils got four points from free throws from Tighe and a layup from
Julia Vazquez (Bound Brook, NJ). One more free throw ended the half, and Lebanon Valley led FDU by a score of 32-21.
The Flying Dutchmen started the third quarter extending their lead by scoring four straight points, before the Devils went on a scoring run of their own, scoring eight straight points from Lynch, Vazquez, and Tighe. Lebanon Valley scored three more points before the Devils once again responded, as Lynch scored two free throws and a layup. She kept it going, hitting another layup after Lebanon Valley hit one of their own. Lebanon Valley scored the last points of the quarter, and with ten minutes left to play, Lebanon Valley led by 12 by a score of 47-35.
The Flying Dutchmen pushed their lead to 17 to start the fourth quarter, before FDU responded back with a three-pointer from Vazquez and a layup from Lynch. Lebanon Valley scored their next three points off of free throws, before FDU came back with Lynch free throws, and a jumper from
Ella Doud (Fairfield, NJ). Lebanon Valley hit one more free throw before time expired to give the Flying Dutchmen a 56-44 win.
FDU-Florham shot 26.2% (16-61) from the floor, 22.2% (2-9) from three-point range, and 71.4% (10-14) from the free throw line, while Lebanon Valley shot 38.2% (21-55) from the floor, 36.4% (4-11) from three-point range and 66.7% (10-15) from the free throw line.
FDU scored more on second chances, while Lebanon Valley scored more on turnovers (7-6), bench points (12-2), points in the paint (26-22) and fast break points (11-5).
The Devils will celebrate senior day on February 15
th, as they take on Misericordia in their final matchup at home this season. Tip-Off will be at 1:00 PM.
