MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham Devils women's basketball team defeated Madison Ave rival, Saint Elizabeth's, after a powerful fourth period performance pushed the Devils to finish with a score of 78-65

How it Happened
- The Eagles opened with a strong 9-0 run over the Devils and dominated the first period offensively. FDU ended the quarter down by 5, 14-9.
- The Devils tied the game for the first time at the 6:52 time stamp in the second period off a layup from Chapman
- Saint Elizabeth's widened the gap for the remainder of the period but FDU points from Bianca Sode, Centeno, Vazquez, and Kristen Mellon kept the Devils in the game
- With FDU keeping close behind, made free throws from Centeno allowed the Devils to tie 40-40 with the Eagles
- This momentum brought alive Devils offense as they took the lead for the first time and went into the final period with 7-point lead
- In the beginning of the fourth, Tighe put up 8 points including two 3-pointers to keep the Devils in the lead
- The Devils continued to press until the very end as points from Tighe, Sode, Vazquez and Chapman secured the win

The Devils will travel to Camden, NJ this weekend to participate in the Scarlet Raptors Classic tournament hosted by Rutgers-Camden from November 14-15. Tip-off is set for 6:00 PM on November 14.
