CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The FDU-Florham men's soccer team topped DeSales 4-1 in its final regular season contest Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Devils secured the No. 3 seed in the MAC Freedom Men's Soccer Championship. 

DEVILS HIGHLIGHTS

• Senior Diego Trujillo tallied one goal and one assist on four shots with three on frame. 
• Genti Dauti notched one assist and led all shot takers with five on the day. 
• Christian Adame, Betim Zhuta, and Vincenzo Gancio each netted one goal.
• Johan Luna recorded his first assist of the year.
• Goalkeeper Victor Ciach recorded nine saves and allowed just the one goal. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Devils began the day's scoring as FDU used a corner kick to set up Dauti who found Zhuta and the first year promptly found the back of the DeSales net to put FDU ahead 1-0 in the 36'.
• The match remained 1-0 until the second half when in the 69' Trujillo scored an unassisted goal to make it 2-0 in favor of the Devils. 
• In the 75', Adame joined in the scoring fun and netted his third goal of the season on an assist from Trujillo. 
• FDU was not done yet, however, as Gancio scored his goal in the 81' on an assist from Luna to make it 4-0. 
• The Bulldogs would eventually score in the last nine seconds of the 89' but the Devils lead was too much to overcome. 

GAME NOTES

• Trujillo finished the regular season second in the MAC Freedom in goals with 15 and in assists with six. 
• Dauti finished just ahead of Trujillo with 10 assists to lead the conference. 
• Ciach continues to lead the MAC Freedom in saves with 88.
• 2025 is just the sixth season in program history that the Devils have won 11 or more matches.

The Devils look ahead to the MAC Freedom Men's Soccer Championship as FDU will be the No. 3 seed and take on Lebanon Valley on Wednesday, Nov. 5. Kick-off is TBD currently.
