Madison, NJ (September 21) - The FDU-Florham Women's Soccer Team rallied until the end to secure the win against Wilkes.

The Devils were down 1-0 at the half after the Colonels scored their first goal off a penalty kick at the 10:34 minute mark. FDU controlled most of the offensive opportunities, out shooting Wilkes, 23-9, including a 12-5 difference in the first half.
Early in the second half, Madison Kleinwaks (Boonton, NJ) had a break-away moment and ran the ball up towards the box, crossing it to Ashley Dietrich (Middletown, NJ), where she squeezed in a shot past Wilkes goalie and defender, bringing the score 1-1. The even score did not last long, as the Colonels responded with their second goal to take the lead at the 58:37 timestamp.
With less than ten minutes left of the contest, FDU pushed to regain the lead against Wilkes as Brytney Moore (Northville, NY) launched a shot to the back of the net after the ball was passed by Dietrich. With the score evened once again, now 2-2, FDU and Wilkes battled for the win.
No more than 20 seconds passed before Kleinwaks earned her second assist of the game as she chipped the ball to senior forward Mia Lopez (Rockaway, NJ) where she took the shot that would bring the score to 3-2, and ultimately earn the Devils the win.
In goal for the Devils, during the full duration of the game was Ava Gianni (North Brunswick, NJ) as she saved two of the four shots on goal taken by Wilkes.
The Devils will next cross Madison Ave to face Drew University on Tuesday, September 24th, for a 7:00pm matchup.
