Saucon Valley, Pa. (September 17)- The FDU-Florham men's golf team opened their 2024 Fall season at the Moravian Weyhill Classic on Monday, September 16. The Devils were one of twelve teams to compete and overall placed themselves in 7th with a combined score of 341 (+57) for 71 par course.
Finishing with the best score for the Devils was
Connor Flanagan as he shot a 81 (+10) and found himself in a four-way tie for 15th place.
Aiden Markey was only two strokes behind his teammate with a 83 (+12) score and was placed in a five-way tie for 25th place. He was followed by
Connor Dillon (Waldwick, NJ) who shot an 86 (+15) which placed him in a tie for 34th overall in the invitational.
FDU-Florham was capped off by a 91 (+20) performance from
Trent Fischer who claimed 45th overall, while
Joseph O'Leary (Washington, NJ) wrapped up the Devils performance with a 112 (+41) score for 58th place.
FDU-Florham is set to host their third invitational in program history on Monday, September 23 at the Mendham Golf and Tennis Club. Tee time is set 12:30 PM.
