Madison, NJ (November 24) FDU-Florham Women's Basketball took on CCNY and dominated in the match, winning the game by a score of 62-40.
FDU-Florham (3-5, 0-0 MAC Freedom) saw points from numerous different players, but they saw the most production from
Kolby Lynch (Morristown, NJ), who scored 13 points and earned six rebounds.

CCNY's (0-2, 0-0 CUNYAC) best player on the court was Kasia Morrison, who scored 15 points and three assists.
The first quarter was completely dominated by FDU. The Devils got off to their best start of the season so far, going on a 19-0 scoring run. It was started by a layup by
Christina Centeno (Bayonne, NJ), then after Lynch made two layups, FDU found points from
Julia Vazquez (Bound Brook, NJ) and
Shannon Tighe (Wayne, NJ), which gave the Devils a double-digit lead only four minutes into the game.
Bianca Sode (Kenilworth, NJ) hit a layup shortly after that, and
Destiny Knight (Philadelphia, PA) hit the Devil's first three-pointer of the game. Centeno ended the run with a layup. The Beavers showed they had some fight left though, going on a 9-2 run to end the first quarter. After
Amaya Fifield (Cambridge, M.A.) hit a layup to make the game 21-2, CCNY scored seven straight points to end the quarter, however, the Devils still held a healthy lead over the Beavers, 21-9.
The second quarter started the same way as the first. FDU got hot and scored 14 straight points to extend the lead to 36-9. Lynch, Centeno, and Tighe all got points in the run, with
Gabrielle Walker (Old Bridge, NJ) scoring her first points of the night on a layup. Vazquez capped off the run with a three-pointer to put FDU in a comfortable position to win the game. The match turned a bit evener after FDU decided to rest their starters for the remainder of the half. Still, FDU closed the first half by scoring the last two buckets, from
Briana Flatt (Bridgewater, NJ) and Sode scoring. At the half, the score was 42-19 in favor of FDU.
Although CCNY put up the first points of the third quarter, FDU once again went on a large scoring run right afterwards, going on a with Walker, Lynch, Centeno, Sode, Fifield, and Vaquez earning points on a 17-2 run from the Devils, which pushed the Devils advantage to a 35 point lead, with the score being 58-23 at the end of the run. CCNY put up one more basket to make the score 58-25 with ten minutes left in the game.
FDU chose to rest its starters in the fourth quarter due to its huge lead, so after the quarter started with four points from the Devils on shots from Sode and
Ella Doud (Fairfield, NJ), CCNY went on their best run of the game earning 15 straight points until the end of the game. When the clocks hit zero, the score was 62-40 in favor of the Devils.
FDUÂ shot 38.0% (27-71) from the floor, 25.0% (3-12) from three-point range, and 41.7% (5-12) from the free throw line, while CCNY shot 25.4% (17-67) from the floor, 8.3% (2-24) from three-point range and 28.6% (4-18) from the free throw line.
FDU won on every statistical category for the game, earning more points off turnovers (20-18), second chance points (11-6), bench points (22-9), points in the paint (44-14), and fast break points (24-5).

The Devils will take a break for Thanksgiving, before returning to action at home against St. Joesph's- Long Island on December 2
