The Rutgers-Newark Scarlet Raiders were able to earn a shot in the Devils goal early in the first half at the 9:05 minute mark. In goal for full duration of the match was Anthony Petrucci (West Orange, NJ), as he saved 9 of the 12 shots taken on goal by the Scarlet Raiders.
