Flanders, NJ (October 2)- The FDU-Florham men's golf team was seen participating in the Annual Drew Birdie Bash at the Flanders Valley Golf Course. The Devils overall placed 10th out of 12 teams and posted a combine score of 339 (+51).
Seen at the top of the leaderboard for FDU-Florham was
Connor Dillon (Waldwick, NJ) as he made his was in for a five-way tie for 17th place with a score of 78 (+5) for is best round this season. Almost 10 placements behind in a tie for 26th overall was
Aidan Newman (Gainesville, Fla.) as he also shot his best round this season with a 80 (+8) score for the course.
With only five golfers able to compete and score for the team, the Devils next saw
Joseph O'Leary (Washington, NJ) collect a course score of 90 (+18) for a three-way tie in 51st place. First-year teammates
Aiden Markey and
Trent Fischer both claimed the tie for 54th overall and produced an identical score of 91 (+19) on the day.
FDU-Florham looks to rest itself over the weekend before heading down to Doylestown, Pa for a dual match against Delaware Valley on Monday, October 7 at 1:00pm.
