Wilkes-Barre, PA. (October 26) - The FDU-Florham Women's Soccer secures their first MAC Freedom Conference victory of the season over King's, 3-0

FDU Goal Scorers: Madison Kleinwaks (1), Mia Lopez (1), Ashley Dietrich (1) 
 

During the first half, neither the FDU Devils nor the King's Monarchs were able to get onto the board. Each team made 2 shots, with both of King's being on goal, and each collected 1 penalty corner but none of these plays were converted.  
 

At the 48:52 timestamp in the second half, Madsion Kleinwaks (Booton, NJ) was passed the ball from Ashley Dietrich (Middletown, NJ) where she was able to cross the shot right above Monarch goalie for the point. A second Devils goal was scored by Mia Lopez (Rockaway, NJ) at the 64:37 minute mark after Dietrich chipped the ball from midfield to Lopez where she then launched it to the back of the net. With less than 2 minutes remaining in the second half, the Devils were awarded a penalty kick which was taken and scored by Dietrich. 
 

During the contest, the Devils were able to get off shots as well as maintain their strong defense, not letting the Monarchs score on any of their offensive chances, ultimately ending the match with a 3-0 Devils victory. 
 

In goal for full duration of the match was Ava Gianni (North Brunswick Township, NJ), as she saved all 5 of the shots taken on goal by the Monarchs 
 

The FDU-Florham Devils will continue their travel to Delaware Valley on Wednesday, October 30th for a 6:00pm start.
