Madison, NJ (October 16) – The FDU-Florham volleyball team (9-11, 1-3 MAC Freedom) hosted the Arcadia Knights(10-12, 2-2 MAC Freedom) for MAC Freedom action and was able to steal the third set to survive but was stopped in the fourth with a 3-1 overall match score to Arcadia.

Seen at the top of the statistics sheet was Arianna Wood (Wayne, NJ) as she accounted for a career-high 29 digs. Seen on the attack were Vanessa Freeman (Piscataway, NJ) and Genevieve Fitch (Charleston, SC) as they led the team with nine kills.

Set 1: FDU-Florham started the first set strong by using straight points to their advantage to start on an 11-7 score. From that point on,  Arcadia caught the Devils and matched every point until an error and a kill ended the set with a 28-26 score.

Set 2: The Devils wanted to make the second set them by starting with three straight points, two kills by Fitch and one by Meghan Kreinberg (Union, NJ). The score was last seen at an 11-11 tie before the Knights once again took the lead and ran to a 25-18 set score, 2-0 match score.
