Records: FDU-Florham (7-8-0, 0-2-0); Farmingdale State (5-7-4, 4-0-3)
Location: Farmingdale, NY (Rams Field)
FDU Goal Scorers: Mia Lopez (8, 9)

In the first half of non-conference action, no goals were added to the scoreboard but home-field advantage had its perks as Farmingdale State went up on shots with 11, while FDU-Florham accounted for 3.

The Rams were able to strike first as the goal was ripped from 30 yards out, towards the Devils goal in the 52nd minute of the match.

With offensive opportunities in the air, Mia Lopez (Rockaway, NJ) took a deep breath and found herself breaking away down the left side to eventually find a spot on the right side of the net, tying the game four minutes after the first goal of the match.

Lopez notched her fourth game-winner of the season with a little over 30 minutes to play after receiving the pass given to Brytney Moore ( Northville, NY).
Despite out shooting the Devils 9-5 in shots once again, Farmingdale State was not able to win or even tie the match after their line goal. The final score stood at 2-1 in favor of the Devils.

Juniors Ava Gianni (North Brunswick, NJ) and Talia Scheffer (Smithtown, NY)  split the 90 minutes evenly while standing in between the goal post for the Devils. Gianni totaled three saves, while Scheffer grabbed one more.

FDU-Florham's next contest will be on Saturday, October 19 at 12:00pm, when they host Lebanon Valley for MAC Freedom action, in support of Hidden Opponent Awareness.
