Madison, NJ(September 13) - The FDU-Florham men's soccer team spun up the Centenary Cyclones in a 2-1, non-conference match on Wednesday evening.

Both teams got to a competitive start as the ball kept bouncing from one side of the field to the other. However, the Devils turned up the heat in the 16th minute of the match when
Irfan Kermalli (Parsippany, NJ) received a pass up through the left side from teammate
Diego Trujillo (Bridgewater, NJ), and placed the ball in the lower left corner of Centenary's goal.
The winning goal for the Devils came from
Drilon Toska (Lincoln Park, NJ) just eight minutes after the first goal, in the 24th minute. Toska gathered himself after beating his defender and lasered a shot to the top left corner to go up before the half, 2-0.
Centenary's lone goal of the night came from Cyclone, Kevin Lopez, in the 68th minute of the match 2-1. Lopez was able to convert on a free kick just outside the goalie box to avoid a shutout.
FDU-Florham graduate student goalkeeper
Anthony Petrucci (West Orange, NJ) was only forced to make two saves of three on target shots.
The Devils will be on business for the next game as they will travel to Leham for a non-conference match, Saturday September 16. Kick off is set for 11am.
