Madison, NJ (May 17)- FDU-Florham women's lacrosse senior
Lizzy Escudero (Bridgewater, NJ) and sophomore
Marissa Ross (Owings Mills, Md.) were both recognized this season by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) as they were named to the All-Boardwalk region team on Wednesday afternoon.
Escudero was named to the first team for the second season in a row while Ross received back-to-back placements on the second team.
Escudero earned back-to-back first team recognition with 16 starts in 18 appearances. She amassed 111 total points this season with 55 goals and 56 assists. Escudero had five games this season with 10+ points and added on to her season accomplishments as she was named first team All-MAC Freedom this year as well.
Ross earned her second team spot after starting all 18 games this season for FDU. She compiled 168 draw controls this season en route to breaking single-game (24) and career (341) program records. She also contributed 17 goals and 21 assists for 38 total points on the year and was a first team All-MAC Freedom selection this season.
FDU-Florham finished its season 9-9 and made it to the MAC Freedom semifinals as the third seed this season. The Devils have made it to the MAC Freedom playoffs every season since 2009.
