Glenside, Pa. (April 7) – The FDU-Florham baseball team (7-17, 4-8 MAC FREE) had the early lead in the contest but could not hold off Arcadia who scored 15 unanswered runs to roll past the Devils 15-2 in game one of their three-game series on Friday afternoon.
 
After two scoreless innings, the Devils jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the third inning on an RBI single through the right side by Brody Donovan (South Plainfield, NJ), followed by an RBI single to centerfield by Vincent Ferrigno (Marlboro, NJ). The Knights answered the early lead by the Devils with seven runs in the bottom of the frame to take a 7-2 lead into the fourth.

Arcadia extended its lead with two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and then took control of the game in the bottom of the fifth inning with six runs scored to ultimately win, 15-2.

Jonathan Rodenhaver (Port Republic, Md.) took the loss on the mound, pitching 2.2 innings while allowing two earned runs and striking out a batter. Arcadia pitcher Carson Denham captured his fourth win of the season as he pitched 5.1 innings, allowed two runs and struck out seven batters.
