Madison, NJ (April 28)­- The second-seeded FDU-Florham men's tennis team will challenge the first-seeded Stevens Ducks for the MAC Freedom Championship on Saturday, April 29 in Edgewater, NJ for a 12:00 pm start.

FDU-Florham advanced to the MAC Freedom Finals with a 5-3 win against the third-seeded DeSales team, 5-3. The Ducks meet the Devils in the Championship match after cruising to a 5-0 win against the fourth-seeded King's squad. Stevens is currently the two-time defending MAC Freedom Champions as they head into their third straight conference title match.

During their win against DeSales, The Devils saw doubles wins from Tyler Crook (East Orange, NJ) and Joni Carasso (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and Ronald Duval (Old Bridge, NJ) and Matthew Emery (Howell, NJ). Crook, Duval and Emery also notched singles victories with Emery sealing the FDU's trip to the finals with his 7-5, 5-7, 6-4 victory against DeSales' Will Pollick.

For Stevens, they were able to sweep doubles play with their pairings of Olof Persson and Aashi Kulakarni, Vivek Harinarayan and Max-William Kanz and the duo of Sebastian Wroe and Troy Zhang. The Ducks completed the sweep with singles wins from Wroe and Zhang.

The Ducks and the Devils squared off earlier in the season on the FDU Tennis Courts with Stevens getting the better of FDU, 9-0.

The match will take place at the Edgewater Tennis Center in Edgewater, NJ with the match scheduled to begin at 12:00 pm. Spectators who attend are allowed to view the match from the viewing lobby but are not allowed to enter the courts area.
