Williamsport, PA (March 28) – The Lycoming Warriors (10-4, 4-0)completed a two-game sweep against the FDU-Florham softball team (7-6, 0-4). The Devils fell 2-1 in game one and 7-0 in game two on Tuesday Afternoon.
Game 1:
FDU-Florham softball started it's MAC Freedom road trip at Lycoming with a 2-1 loss in game one.
All was quiet until the top of the third inning, when
Kristina Pelano (Howell, NJ) walked up to the plate for her second at bat and singled the ball down the left field line for an RBI.
Lycoming answered in the fourth inning with a homer to left field from Morgan Wetzel. With the score going into the seventh inning still tied, Lycoming capped the 2-1 win with a walk-off homer to left field. Despite the loss, the Devils recorded eight hits.
In the circle for Devils was
Ciara Hoffman (Freehold, NJ) (3-3) who pitched the entire game with nine strikeouts and gave up one walk. Hoffman was given the loss and Lycoming's Avery Eiswerth was awarded the win after pitching 2.2 innings.

Game 2:
In game two of today's double header at Lycoming, the Devils were handed their second loss of the day as Lycoming scored early to secure a 7-0 win.
Lycoming started the second game with a homer to left field and a single to right center for the RBI. They continued by adding two runs in the second and fourth innings, and an RBI in the sixth inning.
FDU-Florham combined for three hits and was walked twice in the 7-0 loss.
Bianca DiSanto (Colonia, NJ) threw from the circle for the Devils in the second game but unfortuanlly was given the loss.
DiSanto threw for two innings and faced 13 batters. Kylie Russell pitched the entire game for Lycoming, with nine strikeouts and facing 25 batters.
FDU-Florham will host Misericordia for a MAC Freedom double header on Saturday April 1. The Devils will host their Strikeout Cancer Game on Saturday
in support of the Fight Strong Foundation.
