R,Reading, PA (November 18) - The FDU-Florham men's soccer team faced first seed Alvernia, in the semifinal round of the DIII ECAC Championship Tournament and played in 110 minutes of action before receiving the 3-2 loss in double overtime.

In the first 20 minutes of the match, neither team was able to convert their shots for a goal as the Devils collected seven shots, while the Golden Wolves held the advantage with eleven shots.
At the 20:49 timestamp, Alvernia was able to put up one of their three goals to take the first led of the game.
The Golden Wolves' second goal of the game came just four minutes after, in the 25th minute to go up 2-0 on the Devils.
Shortly after, the Devils answered with a goal of their own to cut the score to 2-1. Senior
Scott Tolochko (Boonton, NJ) received a pass to middle from
Drilon Toska (Lincoln Park, NJ), and was able to zip the ball on the ground, pass the defender and goalkeeper for his second goal of the season.
FDU-Florham was able to net their second goal of the game just before the half expired when
Yariel Parapi (North Bergen, NJ) lined up for a free kick and sent it over the wall of defenders to tie the game with 14 seconds left in the first half.
Neither team was able to score in the second half, even though eight shots for the Devils and twelve shots Golden Wolves were recorded as opportunities to score.
To decide a winner, the game was taken into double overtime, but was in favor of Alvernia as the game winning goal was scored at the at the 96:34 timestamp, 3-2.
Anthony Petrucci (West Orange, NJ) left it all on the field as he finished his final collegiate game with 10 saves, tying a career high of saves at FDU-Florham.
