Dallas, Pa. (October 28) – The FDU-Florham field hockey team was blanked in their final game of 2023 at Misericordia, 2-0 on Saturday evening.

The game was scoreless in the first half, but it was Misericordia who was in control of the game, holding FDU to zero shots in the first two periods while they had 12 going into the second half.

The Cougars got themselves on the board first when Lily Metress fired one into the back of the cage to end the scoreless tie and give MU the 1-0 lead at the 34:54 mark.

Not long after, at the 38:05 timestamp, Misericordia extended the lead to 2-0 when Morgan Walsh found Meghan Radnoff for the Cougars goal. MU would hold strong through the end of regulation to finish their season with a win.

Emily Prachthauser (Morristown, NJ) started and went the distance in her final collegiate game and collected six saves in the game.

Overall, Misericordia outshot Fairleigh Dickinson, 20-3 (18-1 on goal) and dominated the penalty corners as well with 18 corners to the Devils three.
