Madison, NJ (October 17) – The FDU-Florham women's soccer team hosted #21 nationally ranked, Misericordia, for Tuesday evening MAC Freedom action. The score was in favor of the of the Cougars as they won 6-0.

The advantage on the field in tonight's MAC Freedom contest was owned by Misericordia. A total of 26 shots, with 13 being on target, was stated for the Cougar's, compared to the Devils who were able to fire off six shots total.
Misericordia's first goal was seen at the 28:04 timestamp and was scored off a penalty kick by Madison Brdaric.
The Cougar's next four goals came within a span of 15 minutes to help secure led of 5-0.
FDU-Florham did have a few opportunities to put a goal on the score board, including a free kick from
Amanda Martinho (Bridgewater, NJ) who curved it around the wall of defender, but was knocked away by the goalkeeper.
The last goal of the night for Misericordia was netted in the final seven minutes of the match that capped the score at 6-0, giving the Devils the loss in MAC Freedom play.
Flying across the box and between the posts in tonight's match was
Erica Blackburn (Marlboro, NJ), as she made 8 saves, while facing 13 shots.
FDU-Florham will return to MAC Freedom action on Saturday, October 21 at 12pm, in Center Valley, PA when they visit the DeSales Bulldogs.
