Glenside, PA (October 14) – The FDU-Florham women's soccer team traveled to Arcadia on Saturday evening for a MAC Freedom contest but were sent back to Madison with a 4-1 loss.

Statistics showed that the Devils held an advantage overall with 19 shots and two corner kicks, compared to Arcadia's 13 shots and one corner kick. However, the difference was that seven of the Knights' shots were on target.
Arcadia's first goal came in the 23rd minute when Alexis Rabold netted the ball to start the momentum for the Knights.
Three minutes later, the momentum was still running high as Caroline Weirich was assisted by Abby Stephens, to up the score to 2-0 in the first half.
The Knights were able to score one more goal in the 38th minute, before the half expired.
FDU-Florham saw and took many opportunities to score in the second half, as 12 shots were taken but none were able to be converted to the scoreboard.
Arcadia's final goal of the night was scored in the 75th minute and put the Knights ahead of the Devils, 4-0, with 15 minutes left to play.

Reanna Garrett (Piscataway, NJ) who helped the FDU-Florham avoid the shutout in Glenside.
Ashley Dietrich (Middletown, NJ) fed
Garrett a pass ahead and was able to outrun her defender and goalie to chip it the bottom right corner of the net, with six minutes left in the match.
FDU-Florham started its momentum late in the game, which unfortunately resulted in a 4-1 MAC Freedom loss for the Devils.
Erica Blackburn (Marlboro, NJ), stood her ground between the Devils' goal posts and collected three saves in todays' match.
The Devils will return to Robert T. Shields Field on Tuesday October 17, to host Misericordia for a 7pm MAC Freedom contest.
