Madison, NJ (September 24) – The FDU-Florham women's soccer team broke the program record for longest unbeaten streak and extended it to 10 with today's 3-0 victory over Stevenson University on Elizabeth Ruth Hennessy Field.

FDU-Florham, which posted its Division III leading tenth with of the season this afternoon, got the scoring started when
Ashley Dietrich (Middletown, NJ) registered her fifth goal of the year in the 13th minute. Less than ten minutes later,
Mia Lopez (Rockaway, NJ) tallied her team-leading and conference leading 12th goal of the season after driving through a pair of Stevenson defenders.
Francesca Escudero (Bridgewater, NJ) gave the Devils a 3-0 advantage in the 70th minute when she ripped a free kick from the top of the box into the upper left corner of the net.
Today's win gave FDU-Florham its 13th ten win season in program history and fifth consecutive double-digit win season. It is the ninth time under
head coach Kristin Giotta that the Devils have reached ten or more wins in a single year.
In net, FDU-Florham senior keeper
Erica Blackburn (Marlboro, NJ) earned her sixth complete game shutout of the year with a pair of saves between the pipes for the Devils. As a team, the Devils picked up their Division III leading eighth shutout of the 2022 season.
FDU-Florham outshot Stevenson, 16-5 and held a 7-0 advantage in corner kicks.
The Devils will take their ten game winning streak down Madison Avenue on Tuesday, September 27 and play a non-conference contest at Drew University at 7:00 pm at Ranger Stadium.
