Madison, NJ (September 10) - The FDU-Florham women's soccer team secured a 3-0 victory over Elmira in a non-conference game on Robert T. Shields Field on Saturday Afternoon. With the win, the Devils are now 4-0-0 to start a season since the 2000 campaign.

In the first half of Saturday's match up against Elmira and the Devils, each team remained scoreless. The Devils however had five shots on goal, warming up and taking aim for the second half of action.
The second half of the match saw the Devils post three goals as
Mia Lopez (Rockaway, NJ) introduced the ball to the back of the net, from a lob pass ahead via
Daniella Conanan (Hazlet, NJ) at the 50:09 timestamp.
The Devils' second and third goals were scored by
Ashley Dietrich (Middletown, NJ) just a minute and a half apart
. Dietrich's first goal was assisted by
Carly Santucci (Middlesex, NJ) and her second came off
Francesca Escudero's (Bridgewater, NJ) free kick from 20 yards out. Escudero lined up her shot, placing it perfectly for Dietrich to touch it past the Elmira goalie.

Erica Blackburn (Marlboro, NJ) earned the win (4-0), but was not forced to make a save during today's matchup. First-year
Ava Gianni (North Brunswick, NJ) made her collegiate debut for FDU-Florham and played the final 14:47 of the match with one save.
The Devils are back in action at home against Mount Saint Vincent, on Sunday September 11 at 3:00 pm.
