Escudero, an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Region IV First Team honoree, finished her first year with the Devils with 63 goals and 81 assists for 144 points. Her 81 assists and 144 points led the MAC Freedom and ranked third and fourth, respectively, in all of Division III women's lacrosse this spring. Escudero's 63 goals were fourth most in the league this year. The junior individually broke the single game record for points (16) and assists (11) as well as the single season record for points (144) and assists (81). In just one year in Madison, Escudero's 81 assists already rank second most in program history.
Walsh, an IWLCA Second Team All-American and Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Midfielder of the Year, tallied 89 goals and 21 assists for 110 points as well as 41 ground balls, 36 caused turnovers and 122 draw controls. Walsh led the MAC Freedom and ranked third in Division III women's lacrosse with her 89 goals, while her 110 points ranked 13th in the nation this spring. Walsh's 89 goals marked a new career-high for the sophomore and was three shy of tying the single season program record, while her 110 points this spring will place her third on the single season list.
Garcia, an IWLCA All-Region IV First Team honoree, tallied 85 goals and 22 assists for 107 points in 2022. The junior also posted 28 ground balls, 28 caused turnovers and eight draw controls. Garcia's 85 goals ranked second in the MAC Freedom and seventh in Division III, while her 107 points were 15th most in the country this spring. This spring marked the second straight 100 point season for the junior as her 85 goals from this year are third most in a season in program history.
Brunner, an All-MAC Freedom First Team selection, helped the Devils rank 22nd in Division III women's lacrosse by allowing just 7.58 goals per game. In 19 games, FDU allowed just 144 goals on the year, which was the fewest in the MAC Freedom and ranked 32nd in the nation this spring.
All four of these student-athletes guided the FDU-Florham women's lacrosse team to an overall record of 16-3, a mark of 8-0 in the conference and to the program's second straight MAC Freedom title game this year.
