Madison, NJ (April 30) – The FDU-Florham women's tennis team fell to Misericordia University, 9-0, in the Devils 2022 season finale this afternoon.

FDU ends its season with a record of 6-7 overall and a mark of 2-5 in MAC Freedom play.
 
Nicole DelRosso (Summit, NJ) and Erin Weller (Pitman, NJ) were edged, 8-4, at No. 1 doubles before Kayla Dello Iacono (Moodus, Conn.) and Maggie Cronkhite (Deep River, Conn.) fell by an 8-2 score at No. 2 doubles. The Devils forfeited No. 3 doubles as well as No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
 
All four contested singles matches were decided in straight sets in favor of Misericordia. DelRosso and Dello Iacono fell by duplicate 6-2, 6-1 scores at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively, to Brianna Pizzano and Emily Brecker.
 
Cronkhite fell 6-0, 6-2 at Hailey Loughlin at No. 3 singles, while Weller fell to Lydia Barbour, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.
