Sophomore
Ashley Dietrich (Middletown, NJ) put FDU-Florham on the board as she received the ball of the head of senior
Carly Santucci (Middlesex, NJ) and ripped a shot into the upper right corner of the net from about 30 yards out for the 1-0 edge.
Less than seven minutes later, Lopez put the Devils up 2-0 as she put back a saved shot by Delaware Valley keeper Olivia Sherwood. Sophomore
Daniella Conanan (Hazlet, NJ) was credited with the assist with her original shot being stopped which set up the goal.
Lopez added her second goal of the game in the 86th minute and extended FDU-Florham's lead to 3-0. Lopez ripped a shot that was saved by Sherwood and immediately corralled the rebound and fired it off the post and into the net for her 14th goal of the season.
Lopez individually broke the single game record for shots in a game as she produced 14 on the day and surpassed the previous record of 13 that was held by Claire Donohue from the Devils game against Lycoming back on 9/28/13 and Missy Setzer from the Devils game against Mount Saint Vincent on 9/6/07.
FDU-Florham keeper
Erica Blackburn (Marlboro, NJ) registered her eighth complete game shutout of the year and improved to 12-2-0 on the season as she made a pair of saves in today's 3-0 victory.
